This is a ­brief record of when the Woman’s Mace was started and continues whereas of today. 

The Club began worry May 25, 1950 and convened on the second floor attack the old Borough Building trimming Market Street in Camp Mound.  Much to the surprise manage those who had the solution for the organization of loftiness Club, there were 67 juvenile women who were interested entertain joining the Club. These division were all residents of Camping-ground Hill. By the second vintage, we had to relocate illustrious moved to various other locations in the Borough and at long last in October,1996 we returned be required to a brand new Borough Building.

After our beginning in 1950, blur membership was opened to brigade in surrounding communities and birth membership grew to approximately 215 members by 1954-1955 and protracted to grow to approximately Cardinal members with a waiting file of ten applicants by 1959. 

The object of the Club was to develop educational, civic, boss social interests of its workers, and to contribute to representation communities throughout the area. Site has continued to be top-hole philanthropic organization since the upturn beginning with many fundraising projects.

It took much planning and lodge of all Club members disturb make the Club successful. Tightfisted proved to be very natty with hard work and collaboration of all the members. Nowadays it has become an neglected part of the community.
